Bales Cleaning and Restoration

How it works

Our restoration process

Water, fire and mold jobs differ. Here are the steps most restoration jobs go through.

  • Available 24/7
  • Family owned
  1. Step 1: Contact and assessment questions

Call our 24/7 line. We ask what happened, when it happened, where the damage is, and whether anyone is in danger. We also tell you what to do, and what to avoid, while we get ready.

  2. Step 2: On-site inspection and moisture mapping

We inspect the property, find the source if it is still active and check floors, walls and ceilings with moisture meters. The readings show how far the water has traveled, including areas you cannot see.

  3. Step 3: Stabilization

We stop the damage from growing. Depending on the loss, that means extracting standing water, boarding up or tarping openings, removing materials that cannot be saved and setting up containment to protect clean areas.

  4. Step 4: Drying and monitoring

Air movers and dehumidifiers go in where the readings call for them. We come back to check moisture levels, adjust equipment and only finish drying when the materials reach their targets.

  5. Step 5: Cleaning, sanitizing and odor control

Surfaces, belongings and air are cleaned using methods that suit the type of loss, whether water, soot or contamination. Odor is treated at its source instead of being covered up.

  6. Step 6: Repairs and reconstruction

We replace what was removed, from insulation and drywall to paint and flooring. The repair scope is based on the documented damage, so it matches what actually happened.

Documentation for your claim

Throughout the job, we record the condition of the property: dated photos, moisture readings, notes on what was removed and why, and the equipment used. That record supports your insurance claim and shows your adjuster what the work involved.

See how this fits into the claim on our insurance claims assistance page.

What you can expect from our team

  • Plain explanations of what we found and what we recommend.
  • Updates as the job moves from one stage to the next, and a call if something changes the plan.
  • Respect for your home or business, including protecting floors and clean areas.
  • Honest answers, including when something is outside what we do.

The steps apply across the service we offer. If you have damage now, visit our emergency help page or call us. Our line is open 24/7.

Process questions

How long does the process take?

It depends on the type and size of the loss. Drying often takes several days, while repairs can add more time. We will give you a realistic outline once we have inspected the property.

Do I need to be home during the work?

You need to be there for the inspection or arrange access. After that, we coordinate visits with you, including the monitoring checks during drying.

Why do you come back to check on the equipment?

Drying is measured, not guessed. Return visits let us take new moisture readings, adjust the equipment and confirm that the structure is dry before removing it.

Can I stay in my home during restoration?

Often yes, but it depends on the loss. Sewage, heavy smoke or large wet areas may make part of the home unsuitable to live in. We will tell you honestly what we see.
